Kayaking schools give you the skills to run rivers in a sporty boat that requires special knowledge and safety. A kayaking clinic will get you off to a great start! Kayak lessons give you the basics of whitewater kayaking including wet exits, bow rescues, paddling strokes, ferrying, eddy turns and perhaps even the Eskimo roll. A mixture of classroom, flat water and whitewater instruction enable you to both understand and practice the exciting sport of whitewater kayaking.

A word of caution though. Regardless of your success in a kayaking clinic, we urge you to never paddle alone, and to always approach new stretches of whitewater accompanied by paddlers with superior skill and with experience on that waterway. And when in doubt - portage!
